When Fins and Films was originally founded ten years ago…we were initially setup as an educational non-profit. Our goal was to bring history and culture to the area by peering in to the past through movies, vehicles, hobbies and trends. Fins and Films is a culture that takes you back to days past.
Today a few of our board members were able to head up to Kingsland High School and make a donation of $500 to their Metal Arts Shop. We felt that was a great way to push younger generations into a piece of what our gear head culture is all about. We were lucky enough to get a little tour from some of the students and see some of the equipment they get to use in their projects. We’re hoping this donation will help bring in some new equipment or projects into our school.
Watch for what we have planned for Fins and Films 2026 to incorporate our local students into our event…we can’t hardly wait!! Thank you to Ms. Brogan and the Metal Arts students for the fun tour.
